Meet the Photographer
Hi! My name is Maria!
I was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. I lived in England, Scotland, and since 2010, in San Diego County!
I wish I had pursued my career in photography earlier in life so I could have well documented all the fun I had as soon as I got out of High School. Maybe even earlier!
I've assisted with production of several TV commercials in Spain, I've scared people at a haunted house, worked at farm in the Scottish Highlands, cared for orphaned seals in the Shetland Islands, volunteered with chimpanzees in Africa, and also not so far, in Florida.
I worked at a monkey and ape rescue center in England, and moved my life to San Diego, where I raised a wonderful daughter who I am extremely proud of, also gained construction skills, helped produce a couple of short films, and raise goats, and chickens!
I have been slowly, but steadily fulfilling my bucket list, including diving with tiger sharks in Fiji, or hiking to see mountain gorillas in Uganda.
Learning photography was somewhere in between those two. And so glad I did! I recently opened MG Photo studio in Julian, just one hour east of San Diego.
